FAQ
How does the 25% commission work?+
When a referred signup becomes a paying member, you earn 25% of their qualifying subscriptions and purchases for their first 3 months on Ekam. After that window, commissions on that member stop.
When do I get paid?+
Commissions move to "pending payout" after a referred member's qualifying payment clears. Payouts are issued monthly, around the 5th of the following month.
Do creators get a free membership?+
Yes. Approved creators receive a complimentary Ekam membership so you can use the product and share from experience.
How does attribution work?+
We use both your unique referral link (?ref=CODE) and your code (entered at signup). First-touch wins for 180 days from the first click.
What if a referral gets disqualified?+
Fake, duplicate, or fraudulent signups are reversed automatically. If already paid out, the amount is clawed back from your next payout (balance carries forward).
Can I refer myself or my family?+
No. Self-referrals and same-email referrals are blocked automatically and may disqualify your account.
Taxes?+
You are responsible for taxes on your earnings. We collect a W-9 and issue a 1099 for earnings above $600/year (U.S. only).
What can't I do?+
No paid-search bidding on Ekam brand terms, no spam, no impersonating Ekam, no fake accounts, and no medical claims. Violations terminate the account and forfeit pending balances.
